The Voice shared a cool new promo photo to their Instagram today:

In an article on The Zoe Report web site, Gwen confirms that she’s working on a solo album, and that No Doubt is also working on music! She is quoted as saying “I’m working on music right now for both a solo album and No Doubt. I have a new set of fragrances coming out for Harajuku Lovers later this Fall, and GX by Gwen Stefani, my accessibly priced accessories line, is expanding. It’s all exciting and overwhelming.” Sweet!

Tony posted a bunch of photos to his Instagram today of himself practicing for the Global Citizen Festival, including this cute one which he captioned with “In between songs workout” :

Gwen will be on the cover of the next Billboard magazine, out on newsstands this Friday, the 12th.  From their web site:

“The four superstar coaches from The Voice will grace the cover of Billboard ahead the singing competition show’s upcoming season seven, which premieres Sept. 22 on NBC.

New coaches Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams will join the new season alongside Voice veterans Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. Here’s a sneak peak at what the coaches had to say about the popular series, among other things, in Billboard’s upcoming cover story.

Blake Shelton has a few words for TV competition show naysayers: “Miranda Lambert was a contestant on Nashville Star; that’s how she got her record deal. So anybody who calls out people for being on these shows can kiss the asses of some of the most important artists that we’ve seen in all of music, as far as I’m concerned.”

Adam Levine offers a look into his personal musical listening habits: “I live in the past as far as a lot of music that I love. I’m very rooted in the classics. There are 50 records I listen to over and over again, most of them coming before 1985.”

Gwen Stefani on why The Voice is a useful platform for artists: “If you’re Tom Petty, and you want to play your song for the people of America, you would come and you would perform it on The Voice. You don’t play it on MTV. Maybe on the Grammys. But this is music right now. This is where we’re at.”

Pharrell Williams says artists need a good background story: “Ultimately, someone who sings perfectly, with no story, ends up singing background. Someone that really tells their story ends up being the lead singer. You look at The Jackson 5: It’s not that none of the other guys [could] sing. It’s just that you wanted to know what that little boy was thinking. It’s like, ‘That kid is 6 years old, what does he know about that? You know he didn’t write that, but what’s his story?'”

Hello! Gwen has returned to Fashion Week with L.A.M.B. after three years! She’s on the runway today! She shared these photos on her Facebook page:

Pharrell revealed today that he and Gwen are working on a song. He said they are actually finishing it tonight. An article on the New York Post web site states:

“Pharrell Williams and Gwen Stefani will soon reunite as coaches on the new season of “The Voice” — but are the two superstars working on anything in the meantime?

“It’s funny you should [ask], we’re finishing a song tonight,” said Pharrell on Friday at the “Raw for the Oceans” Parley Collaboration Showcase presented by G-Star Raw and Bionic on Wall Street.

Williams and Stefani have collaborated before, most famously on the 2005 massive hit “Hollaback Girl.” Williams is coy on other details but praised Stefani’s chops.

“She sounds amazing, and you’ll really question if she’s really had three children,” said Williams. “And you’ll really question if she’s 44. She’s just young and, like, bangin’ . . . you guys are going to see, Gwen is killing it right now.””

Tom also tweeted that he was practicing a couple of days ago! “Summers almost gone, it’s sunny and breezy out, and I couldn’t be happier -in my cave practicing my guitar today.”

It’s being said that Gwen is going to be a presenter at tonight’s Video Music Awards, which air at 9pm EST. It’s been rumored, but not confirmed, that Gwen may be performing with Maroon 5.

Hello! Gwen was featured in an episode of VH1’s show “The Fabulous Life Of” last night. They have the entire episode on their web site now. I’ve embedded below, as well. Gwen’s portion starts at about 21 minutes into the show.

It’s rumored that Gwen will perform with Maroon 5 at this year’s Video Music Awards! In this ET article, they wrote:

“It was announced today that Maroon 5 will finally make their VMA performance debut during the live broadcast August 24th. ET’s Rocsi Diaz was on site exclusively with Adam Levine while shooting a promo video for the MTV awards show.

The band will be performing their latest single, Maps, but there’s also a rumor going around that Adam’s fellow Voice co-coach Gwen Stefani may be joining them on stage as well.

“I’m not going to tell you, listen, it’s the VMA’s,” Levine told Rocsi. “Would the VMA’s be special if Elton John was like, telling an interviewer I’m doing a song with Eminem? No. Because it was a surprise and it was badass.””

Instagram user zwzzy shared an awesome old-school photo of No Doubt! She wrote “Found this hella old No Doubt photo from a college station I was at in the 90s! Pre bleached Gwen!”

Tony is featured for his animal activism, and veganism, in an article on the One Green Planet web site! I’ve long been impressed and thrilled with the work Tony has done for animals, and related causes. He’s my hero!

In a recent Access Hollywood interview, Gwen mentions that she would like to perform with No Doubt on The Voice. From the interview:””That would be amazing,” she said. “That would be really cool because I think that it’s a whole other part of who I am and being in that band for since [I’m] a teenager, it would be really great to have them come on the show.””
